For the last five years, I've been continuously refining the public Psoda website, ensuring it aligns with the updates made to the modernised user interface. In 2023, we decided on a comprehensive overhaul of the website, introducing a completely fresh design. I was tasked with spearheading the design of the new website, overseeing a fellow design staff member who was responsible for graphics. Additionally, we had another senior team member dedicated to writing the content for the website.
Prototypes
In this project, my primary focus was on crafting the interface design of the website, while I delegated certain stylised graphic design elements to my fellow design staff member. To kick off the process, I developed prototypes for the new website utilising both Adobe Illustrator and Figma. I generated multiple iterations of the header navigation, main page banner, and footer, presenting them to team members for feedback. I continued to iterate on these designs based on the feedback received.
Usability Testing
Usability testing began on the Figma prototypes, with feedback from other team members incorporated into the final design. Following the development of the website by the developmental team, minor iterations were implemented to enhance the design further.
The primary objective for the website was not just a modernised interface but also to boost sales leads by guiding visitors into the sales funnel through the free demo or trial. Since the launch of the new website, we've already observed an uptick in leads, demonstrating its effectiveness in achieving this goal.
